Sometimes, despite our best efforts, a batch of hand dyed thread goes awry. It might be the wrong color, it might have some small imperfections such as a lighter patch in one area, or might have a bit more "texture" than our thread typically has. 

These batches of thread didn't quite pass our stringent quality control standards, BUT in the right project, or if you don't care about matching one of our permanent colors, it is still perfectly usable!

This is a large thread hank of 800 continuous yards. It is secured with a zip tie to avoid tangling. Just cut the hank into two equal sections and you will have one-yard lengths. It is a LOT of thread (approximately 100 of our regular skeins' worth) but because we don't have the labor and time of cutting/packaging it into smaller lengths, we are offering them at a DEEP discount - equivalent $0.48 per SKEIN! Even if you only ever use a quarter of this yardage, it is like paying $1.92 per skein! Or, split it with some stitchy friends!
